Fired with enthusiasm from our Swindon sessions, we trolled off up to Scotland for the weekend. We stayed in a delightful hotel in Tweedsmuir, with art-deco interiors, which was only a few miles from the mmmm recording studios in Biggar.

Our enthusiasm also led us to buy a set of matching shirts, as can be seen in these pictures.

After the recordings, over consumption of ale back at the hotel was to make a significant impact on the direction the band would later take.

As it happens, we were disappointed with the results of the recordings when they eventually arrived. Only one of the 5 tracks laid down was deemed to be almost reasonable, so the CD was withheld from release. But we learned a lot from the experience, so rehearsals will continue.
